This is after they are out of beta and become a live website, of course. I think we should just abandon ship on all the current fur sites and make the new fur-base at If you would like to give a middle finger to these users, support either our animations or comics! Should we stop supporting e621? Vote here! I have heard of a few people that found FA and became more active via that archive. I personally think it's a vocal minority, and that ripping down our work would be harming a lot of more casual, innocent furries who use the website to discover the community. Kabier is less tolerant then I am, and the harassment is getting to her, wanting to remove anything with the tag Kabier from e621 due to lack of intervention from admins there. It's basically a meme to hate on the material and shitpost on them rather then blacklist. Now however, our content seems to be the most popular thing on e621 for all the wrong reasons. A couple years ago, it was a great source of criticism because users aren't concerned about upsetting the artist. From time to time, we'll check the comments their on our new stuff and see how the reception is. We tend to check e621 because it's a pretty efficient way to find new artists to follow with the popular feed (Does FA have an equivalent to this?). As a result, I tend to jest them on and just have a laugh about the manner. No artist that hits a certain amount of fame seems immune. It's pretty easy to shrug the hate off, one can take a look at any other thread or comment section on places such as e621, or and see that a majority of the users spend their time complaining about the furry community in every capacity. At first, I felt flattered that I had become known enough to actually generate anyone willing to form rumours, speculation or even blind hatred to our activities or content creation. She's gonna apply to get her drivers license which is a step to us having more equal responsibilities.Īnyway, onto the subject of this journal! Popularity has many positives, but it's not all consequence free. Her dependencies lean on me and my urge to be a parental figure feeds on that. Now we can get back into cooking proper dinners!īoth me and Kabs are gonna make efforts to be less codependent. We did have a microwave/rocklette and toaster oven, but you can only make bachelor pad style food with those. This is really handy as we lack those custom outlets that are required for a proper stove/oven. A stand-alone hotplate that plugs into a standard electrical outlet and the same thing for a large stir-fry thing. Thanks for all the replies to my previous journal! We did end up having a nice Christmas and actually got some very practical things as gifts from the rich grandparents.
